ABOUT THE OWNER
PAMELA BAILLIE was born in Kirkcudbright and lived here until 1972 growing up surrounded by stories of the Kirkcudbright artists. Since then she has lived and worked in Edinburgh (Scotland), London (England), N.W. Australia, Kobe (Japan), Geneva (Switzerland) and now again lives in Kirkcudbright.
In 2018 she was involved in the project "Kirkcudbright Artists Remembered" where interviews were conducted with locals who had lived in Kirkcudbright during the 1940s, 50s and 60s and who had stories to tell of the artists who were living in Kirkcudbright at that time. The project has resulted in an historical archive of recordings and two short films which can be accessed on the Kirkcudbright Harbour Cottage Gallery website
